The Origins of
Chosen Few M.C. Club
The Chosen Few Motorcycle Club is the first mixed-race outlaw motorcycle club. Their first white member joined in 1960. This club was founded in Los Angeles and now has chapters all over the United States. The Chosen Few MC started around 1959 in Los Angeles, California. The founding members were Lionel, Lil Frank, Roger, Hawk, Slim, Shirly Bates, and Champ. These brothers all rode full-dress Harleys & chopped dressers.
The club's purpose was to ride and enjoy the new black biker scene in Los Angeles and Oakland, California. Two names were suggested for the club: "The Patriots Of Iron & Steel" and "Chosen Few." The latter was chosen, and the Chosen Few MC was born.

Formation of the Club
Bay areas clubs like the "East Bay Dragons", "Soul Brothers", "Frisco Rattlers", "Outlaw Vagabonds", "Defiant Ones", and down south in Los Angeles, the "Choppers", & of course The "Chosen Few".
The first white boy to come to the Chosen Few was "White Boy Art." He came around 1960, followed by "White Boy Tom". Soon we started to attract other white outlaw riders that wanted to join us.
The Chosen Few became a multi-racial MC with chapters that were, all black, all white, half white and Mexican, half black and half white, all Mexican, half Mexican & Indian with a few Asians & one Iranian. Our "Take None, Give None" diamond was given to us by "69 Jim" who was a 5 foot 6 inch radical Mexican. This patch has stood the test of time.
The Club may have started black, but our white brothers took us head-on into the outlaw biker world. The white clubs knew about The Chosen Few. They knew it was a black club. Then they saw the white bros flying the same patch as the blacks. "The Shit Hit The Fan".
A lot of the white clubs called our white brothers "nigger lovers " & "you belong to a nigger club". The white brothers didn't give a shit. They fought for their place in the outlaw biker world & flew The Chosen Few colors proudly.
The white bros brought a true brotherhood to the club.
The Chosen Few
was the 1st fully integrated outlaw MC.
It became well known that
"In Black & White We Had Might".
Our mission as Chosen Few M.C. is to come together with a single simple message:
" SHARE THE LOVE OF THE RIDE AND THE LOVE OF OUR FELLOW RIDERS "

We know that a house divided cannot stand alone, so at
all times we will and must function as a unit. Accomplishing this will set a standard by which all
other clubs will measure.
We must commit ourselves freely and without reservation to giving back to the community and uplifting our fellow man.
